Hamilton Street and Business Community Corporation (HSBCC) Executive Director Efren Dato and also President of E.D. Global Consulting together with Simon “MONSI” Serrano, of Philippines, Chief Business Consultant of Metaopsis Consultancy and HSBCC International Business Development Consultant, visited US and Foreign Commercial Service Director Joel Reynoso to discuss the details of Doing Business in America Conference: New Jersey Business Opportunities to be held on October 16-21, 2009 at DoubleTree Hotel Somerset, New Jersey.
“This is a very good project” Reynoso told to Dato and Serrano. “We need this kind of global partnership that will elicit mutual benefits and growth for US and Philippines. There are so many good opportunities we can share to your country as well as other Asian countries. Apart from that, there are also opportunities for the Filipinos to do business here in America. Rest assured that we will support this endeavor.
Reynoso will also be one of the speakers in the conference, apart from Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula and Michel Bitritto, Ph.D. Director of New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (NJMC) Business Accelerator.
“This is a conference that Filipinos should not miss. We will also invite other panelists who will answer other questions about “Doing Business in America”. I just wish they will really take time to invest on this conference. There are so many things to be discussed which they cannot read in the books or find in the web. Hearing from America’s Assemblyman, US and Foreign Commercial Service Director, NJMC Business Accelerator Director and other reliable sources is something different”, Reynoso further exclaimed.
The “Doing Business in America Conference”: New Jersey Business Opportunities is a joint project of E.D. GALOBAL Consulting and METAOPSIS Consultancy. This business educational conference will provide business opportunities for Filipinos and other Asian countries. Investors such as zero-interest loans; financial assistance; residency to citizenship status; processing of business permits; and other incentives available under the economic stimulus package of US President Barrack Obama.
“There is great opportunity for large enterprises and micro-entrepreneurs as well with many areas in New Jersey heavily populated by a Filipino market,” said Dato, a Filipino-American.
Serrano said, “As per our visit in New Jersey Economic Authority’s Bill Spears said, there will also business matching for those who do not have any business idea to put on. There is also an option to buy from existing companies and co-manage a business. It is a once in a lifetime experience seeing a collaboration among private sectors from the US and Philippines and being supported by the US government from the federal down to the Township level.
